In the drama, Xiaoliu is holding a hibiscus flower that grows along the river bank. Its the flower that Tushan Jing held when she saved him, randomly plucked by Skinny who threw it to him.
Xiaoliu got a shock to see Xiangliu behind her when she stood up.
She lied that she was thinking of him to butter him up. He smiled and took off with her.
Its already nightfall.
As Xuan and Sang packed up the winery, assassins suddenly came into the courtyard.
He and his guards did not seem to notice a woman on a flying horse, far away in the skies above.
She drew her bow and took aim.

In the drama, we can’t tell if Xiaoliu was already passed out and did not even know Xiangliu giving her this CPR kiss.
In the novel, she was still conscious and Xiangliu’s lips are described as icy cold.

The drama adjusted the lines which made no sense now.
可惜，不会 is a strange reply to a question of whether he would kill her or not.
可惜 ‘Too bad’ does not seem to match. Too bad, I won’t kill you?
Xuan’s physician is at a loss. His non-lethal wound should have stopped bleeding with the medicines they have. However, the blood just kept gushing out of him and they could not do anything to staunch the bleeding.
Xiaoliu did not take up Jing’s offer to help her with the poisonous bug but she asked Xiangliu.
Jing had been willing to do anything Xiaoliu asked of him, but this was one thing she did not want to involve him in.
It was part of her original plan for Xiangliu to have the bug so that he will no longer hurt her.
Xiangliu poor guy, looks like he only heard ‘ The only one I want to scourge is you ‘.
Xiaoliu is very upset after hearing Xiangliu is planning to kill Cang Xuan before he leaves.
In her exasperation, she dared to scold Xiangliu, and wondered about his loyalty to Hong Jiang, a subject which had proven to be very sensitive one from her earlier experience.
To her surprise, Xiangliu was very mild and even wistful this evening.

When Xiaoliu heard that Cang Xuan had never given up looking for her, the way she hid her tears is so heartbreaking. Why wouldn’t she let Cang Xuan know who she is?
Was she worried there is no way to prove who she claims she is, and they will kill her? This does not seem likely, since she was never shown to be conflicted about that. So it would seem, she has no intentions of returning to her old life, most likely because she thought her father had abandoned her after her parents’ divorce and did not want her to return either.
Fangfeng Yiying’s attempted assassination of Cang Xuan, together with Xiangliu, was a twist that we did not see coming. Who can expect a connection between Tushan family’s future lady with the Top killer of Da Huang?
Did Xiangliu think he was doing Xiaoliu a favor by killing Cang Xuan before he leaves town?
One less Xiyan royalty to deal with, killing he was ready to do for free, now sponsored by Xuan’s uncles and Xiaoliu will be fine even if she cannot get rid of Xuan’s poisonous bug.
Definitely a triple win in his books.
